If you have visited the walk-through Tammar Wallaby exhibit recently you may have noticed some extra little critters in there. We can announce that there are in fact three joeys in this exhibit. One is out of the pouch and entertaining guests with its antics. The other two joeys are still in the pouch but you may see their limbs dangling out of the pouch. It won’t be long before they will emerge from the pouch and all three will joeys will be jumping around the exhibit and getting up close to guests. The Tammar Wallabies have really taken to their refurbished enclosure and that is shown by the fact that they are raising joeys in this walk-through exhibit. With Tammar Wallabies being one of the smaller types of wallabies the joeys are likewise smaller and this makes them that little bit cuter. Make sure you visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary soon and check out the Tammar Wallaby joeys and see all their antics.
