WOW – we can come to you
If you cannot come to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we will come to you. WOW – Wildlife on Wheels is our school incursion program. You can choose from an animal or an Indigenous theme, both are linked to the Australian Curriculum for all year levels. The WOW experience is not limited to P-12 groups, we also visit ESL and early childhood centres.
WOW – Wildlife on Wheels
• Experienced wildlife education officers will visit your school
• We introduce your students to a variety of animals such as a lizard, snake, frog and mini beasts (depending on availability)
• Your students will learn about each animal’s adaptations, diet, habitat and conservation – specific topic requests can be made when booking
Indigenous WOW – Wildlife on Wheels
Our Indigenous WOW Experience will teach your students about our local area and its people, significant landmarks, weaponry, Dreamtime stories such as the Rainbow Serpent, myths, languages, instruments and ceremonies.
