The Big Fang Theory Reptile Show
This new show is presented by an all-female cast and introduces the audience to an array of venomous snakes and reptiles. Held once daily in the Green Patch Stage at 11:15am, visitors will get the opportunity to get up close to some of Australia’s most venomous reptiles and also have a photo with some of our friendly ones as well.
Bilinbah – Land of the Parrots
Experience three different zones that parrots reside in – Desert, Forest, Rainforest. This new aviary features 60-100 parrots with 14 difference species represented. The perfect spot on a hot (or rainy) day to be surrounded by some amazing birds. This is a walk through attraction. Bilinbah means “Land of the Parrots” in the local Indigenous language of the Yugambeh people. They believe that all of the native parrots got their big beautiful colours during a corroboree and ceremony at Razorback Hill located not far from here on the Tweed River.
A new viewing experience to see our lovable bilbies and you may even spot some of the bilby joeys. This new enclosure is a purpose designed home for one of Australia’s endangered species.
