Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is an organisation that places strong emphasis on ensuring our employees have a great attitude in addition to great skills. Whatever the role applied for, you will need to have a positive and passionate attitude.

For wildlife employment vacancies, you must be aged over 18 and hold the minimum requirement of Certificate 3 in Captive Animal Management. No applications for animal care roles will be considered without this qualification.

Work Experience & Training Opportunities

We regret we do not have resources available to offer any work experience programs to high school students. Instead, we offer the opportunity for high school students to participate in our school based traineeship program

Veterinary Placement

Currumbin Wildlife Hospital is one of the busiest veterinary hospitals in Australia offering placement opportunities to clinical year veterinary students.

Due to the competitive nature of applications, placements are accepted and confirmed one year in advance.
