Come and experience Volunteering – help your community, utilize your life skills, meet new people in the great outdoors and spend some time around our native animals. Here at National Trust- Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we offer both long-term and short-term volunteering programs. Whether you are an individual or a member of a community or corporate group, we invite you to come and volunteer for an iconic Gold Coast not-for- profit organisation. Every volunteer participant is supporting the operations of the Sanctuary or Wildlife Hospital, making you a Conservation Champion!
SHORT-TERM VOLUNTEERING – VOLUNTEER FOR A DAY
You may like to try out volunteering for a day just for fun, or maybe before committing to one of our long term volunteer programs. There are two choices if you wish to volunteer for a day. Both options are suitable for individuals or groups. Click on the link below to apply.
Enrol in our WALK IN THE PARK program. It’s easy, friendly and fun. Spend the day in the Sanctuary working alongside our fabulous Park Volunteers helping them with their role of welcoming guests, providing information and assisting at the animal shows and exhibits.
Or, you may like to work as an EVENT VOLUNTEER at one of our fundraising or conservation project events. These events can range from tree planting projects, to gardening activities, to selling raffle tickets to Christmas gift wrapping. These events are ever changing throughout the year. LONG-TERM VOLUNTEERING – FOUR PROGRAM CHOICES
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary operates four (4) separate volunteer programs. You can only join one program so please read through the details about your choice carefully before applying.
