Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Admission $10.50 per student including admission, educational presentation, student workbook, all shows and talks, train rides and lorikeet feeding. Minimum group size 10 .
Teachers: 1 FOC to every 5 paying students. Admission for additional teachers is $19.50 per person.
Educational Presentation:The Education Session (free with admission), offers a 30- 45 minute
lesson using different animals to teach various topics, including Adaptations,
Food Webs, Endangered Species and Conservation. Education sessions can be
tailored to your curriculum requirements; please indicate topic needs on your
booking form.

Custom Made Ed. Encounters Your class can engage in specialised education encounters such as:
Threatened Species Treasure Trail - Students learn about Australian threatened and endangered wildlife housed at CWS. Groups are given their first clue which engages them in a series of clues that leads them around the threatened wildlife enclosures in the park. Along the way students learn about threats to native wildlife and finish with a game and discussion on how Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary helps these animals and actions students can take.
Sustainability Tour Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has recently become Eco Certified in Advanced Eco Tourism. Our aim is to operate our park as sustainably as possible and we are proud to have made some significant changes to meet these goals.
We are pleased to be able to promote a new tour in 2009 – the Sustainability Tour.
Your class will meet with a dedicated Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary staff member and engage in a tour of the park. Areas and topics visited include:
Water tanks
Water recycling
Solar Initiatives
Waste recycling
Practising energy audits- including wattage, bulbs, cost effectiveness
Paper use and printing
Planting schemes

Aboriginal Appreciation Experience Your class can engage in an outdoor presentation conducted by Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s own Aboriginal Dance Troup. Some of the cultural appreciation topics include:
Bush Tucker
Hunting and Gathering- tools and weapons
Dwellings
Music and Dance
Dreamtime (understanding dreaming)

Adventure Parc Green Challenge
The Green Challenge Adventure Parc is a high ropes adventure course
that is located within the Wildlife Sanctuary.The course comprises of up to
65 elements including 2 Tarzan swings and a 17m high flying fox. Please
note to do this activity you must be able to reach 160cm with arms
stretched above head and feet flat on ground. Please note that there
are height restrictions. Your students is must reach a
height of 1.6m with their arms extended above their head and feet flat on
the ground. While on the course, students develop skills in balance,
hand-eye coordination, teamwork, communication and of course have fun!
The Green Challenge Adventure Parc is a fully supervised activity by trained staff including one of our education officers. At the moment we have a special package involving school groups wishing to participate on the Green Challenge, it will be admission plus $15.00 entry onto the Green Challenge Adventure Parc.
If you wish to include this activity as part of your day at the Sanctuary, please read the following rules and conditions and ask each student’s parents to sign the accompanying form to bring in.
Wildlife Photos ( $6.00per student) Enjoy an individual "cuddle shot" photo with a Snake or Koala - 6 x 8 inch colour portraits.
Kangaroo Feeding ($1.00 per bag of roo food)
