A lot has changed on the Gold Coast in 50 years but the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Steam Train looks as good as the day it was delivered. The earliest photo featured here was taken in 1964, not long after the train arrived at what was previously known as Currumbin Bird Sanctuary. The latest was taken only days ago as the steam train pulled into the newly renovated Blinky Bill Green Patch station.
Our trains also now play an important role in the new and exciting Blinky Bill live production shows on daily! Come ride the trains these school holidays and be part of the history of Currumbin.
